In order that students are properly trained in disaster management and are available  in the hours of need,  the college organizes a work shop  cum training programme on disaster management. 150 plus students  were trained in various aspects of disaster management like  Road safety, Fire safety ,First Aid ,Floods ,Evacuation ,Earthquake and tsunami ,Stress Management etc .Various personnel from  Civil defense, Regional Transport office  and other government bodies were invited to guide the students.
